Light Wave By Max Lab
17 Aug to 25 Aug
7:30 PM - 12:00 AM
A visual manifestation of wave energy transmission, Light Wave is an interactive light installation generating waves of dynamic lighting that travel across the tranquil water surface using light rods.
Consisting of a series of light rods suspended above the water feature in front of SMU’s Li Ka Shing Library, Light Wave is inspired by the phenomenon of how energy is transmitted. Take control of the lighting by triggering a wave motion in these light rods, and watch the installation change dynamically with varying frequencies as you manipulate the intricate mechanism behind it.
This installation is brought to you with support from lighting distributor, CKJ Asia (Colour Kinetics Japan), and awarded under the Singapore Night Festival’s Open Call.
