The Land Above pays homage to history and heritage in a projection artwork that raises land to the sky. Through the visual language of art, The Land Above presents abstract geography with traditional motifs from the Nusantara world, giving way to the rising tide of a reimagined cultural kaleidoscope. Step into this portal where the past collides with the future, and experience the symbiotic relationship between nature & culture.

About the artists
STATE SENSOR is a partnership between Singaporean artists Brandon Tay and Safuan Johari. Known more for their adventures in electronic media and synonymous with architectural projection mapping in Singapore, the duo’s works offer a holistic approach that takes into full consideration of the experiential factor; from the structural to the sonic. Other than projection-based pieces, Brandon and Safuan have also produced and exhibited interactive works, and designed content for theatre and dance productions. Since 2011, the duo has clinched various commissioned and corporate projects internationally, regionally and locally.
